Escape Nights
We are so excited to be offering a new and fun nighttime experience at the Tasting House! Escape Nights at the Tasting House is a real-life team-based puzzle game, where you are locked in a room and have to solve puzzles together to get out.
Our themes run seasonally, but either are available for a private booking on another day that is not already listed in the schedule - please contact us for more info.
Professor Ransom
Bring a group and challenge yourselves to escape the Tasting House as you have been requested to help locate and deliver the ransom of kidnapped anthropology professor Dr. Edgar Smith. He loves to travel and explore, but he also likes to take relics and artifacts that should have been left untouched. Now being held for ransom, his latest find is hidden in his office, and it needs be delivered to the authorities before it is too late. You can help - but only if you solve the challenges in this eccentric professor's study in under an hour to release and return the sacred relic and reuse the professor.
The cost is $25 per person (tax included) in the room. Reservations are necessary and walk-ins are not accepted. Booking is done online only through this page. Our booking system offers 8 tickets for each event time that we offer. Please note that when booking, you are purchasing individual tickets, not the room exclusively. If you want to have the whole room for just your group, please book the 8 people all at one time.

We must have at least 4 people to book the room, and if you have a larger group, please try to book them at one time. If you do not have 4 people in your room 12 hours before your scheduled event, we will get in touch with you to make arrangements to reschedule or adjust.
Escape Nights FAQs
Please note:
• None of our games require the use of force. If something seems secured in place, it is.
• If you break something in one of our games by using excessive force or reckless behavior, you must pay for it.
• Don't guess random combinations, try to pick locks, or use force to try opening locks.
• Cell phones and other electronic devices must remain off and can not be used during the games.
• There is no need to lift or move heavy objects, or climb on top of furniture.
FAQ's
Q. Am I really locked up in a room?
A. No, it is a simulated experience and if you need to leave at anytime you may.
Q. When should we get there?
A. The time on the booking is the time to arrive. It gets you there early enough for all the explanation and to get you all set up to start the game.
Q. What is the age requirement?
A. Anyone over the age of 13 may attend, but anyone between the ages of 13-17 needs to be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Q. Will there be other people in the room with us?
A. The room will be filled as people book, up to 8 people the experience for the given time slot. We must have at least 4 people to book the room, and if you have a larger group, please try to book them at one time. If you do not have 4 people in your room 12 hours before your scheduled event, we will get in touch with you to make arrangements to reschedule or adjust.
Q. How much is it?
A. The special event Escape Night @ the Tasting House is $25 per person and that price includes tax.
Q. Can I cancel?
A. Once the game is booked through the online system, there will be no refunds. If you want to move your reservation to another day or time, we must have 48 hours notice.
Q. What happens if we don’t “escape” in the 60 minutes?
A. It’s not a problem - you just won’t be able to leave. Just kidding! We can walk you through the remainder of the game as time permits. The fun is in the experience, and not completing the game will not hinder your enjoyment level. There will be hints available from our staff, but use sparingly - you can only ask for hints twice during the game.
